Fitness 1st is a student directed, physical fitness/wellness focused, data driven process that utilizes technology to benefit all students.
Fitness 1st can be used by Administrators, Teachers, Students and Parents to monitor individual students progress toward a lifetime of physical activity and wellness.
Phase 1:  This is where students' Physical Fitness Profile is assessed using the Connecticut Physical Fitness Assessment. This Phase usually lasts about a Month, depending upon the frequency that classes meet.
Phase 2:   This is when students use their fitness profile results to determine which areas of personal fitness to concentrate on.  Then they create a physical activity plan to use to target their fitness parameters that need improvement..
Phase 3:  Fitness Activity and Fitness Logs:  Students log their personal fitness activities based on frequency, duration, time, and intensity.  Their logs should incorporate activities that have been chosen during the planning stages. 

Phase 4: Reassessment or Fitness Profile:  Students self assess with assistance after 8-12 weeks of Physical Activity, and the cycle begins again.
